Azure infrastructure
Virtual machines, virtual networks and resource permissions for the environment named in your proposal.
Network connectivity
Site-to-site and point-to-site VPN work, with identity and access responsibilities documented.
Virtual desktops
Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Business or Enterprise, including agreed host pools, images, FSLogix, network design and provisioning work.
Hybrid infrastructure
Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi and Remote Desktop Services requirements assessed alongside the Azure environment.
Separate cloud operation from a cloud move
Ongoing administration covers the cloud resources and operational tasks named in the agreement. A datacenter migration, Azure Virtual Desktop deployment or major network redesign is a separate project. Define the starting environment, dependencies, pilot, cutover and acceptance checks before production changes.
Document ownership before an incident
- Which resources are monitored and which alerts need escalation.
- Who approves privileged access, network changes and production maintenance.
- The support hours, severity definitions and response target.
- Who owns backup configuration, recovery procedures and restore validation.
- Cloud subscriptions and usage costs, separated from administration and project fees.
- The reporting and procedures your team receives.
How an Azure engagement starts
- Inventory resources and dependencies. Review the Azure subscriptions, workloads, virtual networks, access arrangements and current operating tools.
- Agree the operating scope. Name recurring tasks, approvals, incident handover and any remediation or deployment project.
- Prepare the handover. Arrange approved access, ticketing, documentation and the monitoring included in your scope.
- Review the environment. Use the agreed service reporting, open risks and roadmap to decide which changes need a separate project.
Questions buyers ask
Do you support Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365?
Yes. The portfolio includes Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, images, FSLogix and networking, plus Windows 365 Business and Enterprise provisioning. Deployment, ongoing image updates and capacity reviews are included only when the proposal names them.
Can you help with an Azure VPN or hybrid environment?
The portfolio includes site-to-site and point-to-site VPN, Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid Exchange work. Describe the environment and connectivity problem so the responsibilities and change plan can be scoped.
Are backup and disaster recovery included automatically?
Recovery duties are defined in the agreement. Name the systems, backup owner, recovery procedures and acceptance evidence required. Do not assume every cloud resource has a managed backup or tested restore merely because it runs in Azure.
Do you also work with AWS?
AWS appears in the practice's infrastructure toolkit. Specific AWS workloads, services and operational responsibilities must be assessed and named in the proposal; the Azure scope on this page does not automatically include them.
